When you pull into the parking space in the back of the building you will enter through the black iron gate (with the gate code) and up the stairs to another keyless entry door. * there is not an elevator * It's an open concept and spacious - The living room where you can see the dining area and the kitchen. The living space has a queen sleeper sofa, the dining table accommodates 6 and can extend on both ends to accommodate four more. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials even the locally roasted (by Lamplighter here Richmond) Metta Coffee - STIR. As you enter the hallway the 1/2 bath is on the left and the 1st bedroom is on the right. Queen bed with Tuft and Needle mattress and organic bedding produced for Metta Home. There is a sky light in this bedroom, but don't worry we have created a curtain that you can open and close. There is a sliding glass door that leads to the full size bathroom. The bathroom is large! Vanity, full walk in shower with two shower heads and a laundry closet. Should you need to use the washer or dryer or both please don’t over load them, they work great when filled but not overloaded. Our towels are organic & vegan and made for Metta Home. All of which can be purchased... more about how to buy once you arrive. The second or front bedroom has another queen bed and twin sleeper. This bedroom has sound proof windows. They are like storm windows and you can open and close them with the little latches. We leave them open so you can open and close the blinds. We have a deck with dining table and lounge seating to enjoy the outdoors or have your morning coffee. **We maintain The Metta Hotspot as a safe haven as are the surrounding areas, and we look forward to progress as we uphold our Metta Values. You may smoke outside, be sure you extinguish what you are smoking before leaving unattended. Be sure that all doors, windows and any opening where smoke may enter the house are closed and secured. There is a separate powder room with toilet & sink & a large coat closet. The kitchen has been custom designed for cooking & entertaining. It's fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, utensils, etc. We also have many small appliances. The living room is both bright & cozy, with a gas fireplace that you can turn on anytime, & comfortable chairs & couch for reading or conversation. The dining room has a table that can be enlarged to fit up to 10 people & we have extra folding chairs. The dining room also has a piano & space for an extra desk. The dining room also has an exterior door that leads to our back deck & private side yard. It's a small yard, but perfect for a BBQ, pet area, or little kid play area. If you need more outdoor space, the back gate leads to our SHARED COMMON SPACE which includes a community garden, play structure, & playing field. BEDROOM LEVEL (3rd Floor) On the 3rd floor there are two rooms that are currently used as bedrooms. There is also an office where we can put a bed if needed. The first bedroom is the Master Suite with a King Bed, a huge walk-in closet, & a well-appointed Master Bath with a glass double shower, two sinks, & toilet. There are 2 small & 2 large dressers, & a large walk in closet. The second bedroom is a kid's room. It's outfitted with a full-size loft bed. While designed for a kid, it can be used by adults! The room also has a desk, 2 dressers, & a large closet. The loft is most comfortable for two kids, or one adult. The space under the bed can be outfitted with another bed if needed. The third room on this floor is the office with a large desk for 2-3 computers & a printer. We can put a bed in this room if a 4th bedroom is desired. There is also another full bathroom in the hall on this level. It has a tiled shower/bathtub, sink, toilet, a large linen closet, & a small dresser. SKYROOM + DECK (4th Floor) This is our favorite room in the house. The whole floor is one large room with a vaulted ceiling & windows all around. It's outfitted as a family room with a sectional couch, & entertainment system. It also has a Peloton stationary bike & weights. There is a powder room on this level with a sink & toilet, & a bar area with a mini-fridge & bar sink. A bed could be added to this room. THE BEST PART of our home is the 4th Floor Deck which is off the Skyroom. There is a hot tub & a seating area on the deck with gas fire pit & beautiful couches.
