Located on Broad St. our flat is a second floor walk up, (17 steps total) above a well known tattoo shop. When you pull into the parking space in the back of the building you will enter through the black iron gate (with the gate code) and up the stairs to another keyless entry door. * there is not an elevator * It's an open concept and spacious - The living room where you can see the dining area and the kitchen. The living space has a queen sleeper sofa, the dining table accommodates 6 and can extend on both ends to accommodate four more. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials even the locally roasted (by Lamplighter here Richmond) Metta Coffee - STIR. As you enter the hallway the 1/2 bath is on the left and the 1st bedroom is on the right. Queen bed with Tuft and Needle mattress and organic bedding produced for Metta Home. There is a sky light in this bedroom, but don't worry we have created a curtain that you can open and close. There is a sliding glass door that leads to the full size bathroom. The bathroom is large! Vanity, full walk in shower with two shower heads and a laundry closet. Should you need to use the washer or dryer or both please don’t over load them, they work great when filled but not overloaded. Our towels are organic & vegan and made for Metta Home. All of which can be purchased... more about how to buy once you arrive. The second or front bedroom has another queen bed and twin sleeper. This bedroom has sound proof windows. They are like storm windows and you can open and close them with the little latches. We leave them open so you can open and close the blinds. We have a deck with dining table and lounge seating to enjoy the outdoors or have your morning coffee. **We maintain The Metta Hotspot as a safe haven as are the surrounding areas, and we look forward to progress as we uphold our Metta Values. Whole Foods, Lowes, Kroger, Starbucks, and tons of local eateries and some great music venues! All within two blocks! * NO SMOKING anywhere inside the home. You may smoke outside, be sure you extinguish what you are smoking before leaving unattended. Be sure that all doors, windows and any opening where smoke may enter the house are closed and secured. HOUSE PARTIES or EVENTS ARE PROHIBITED You agree to act in such a manner as to allow those nearby peaceful enjoyment of their properties. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation at anytime that you violate this policy. Advance notice is required for early check in requests and we'll do our best to accommodate those requests. We charge $25 per hour starting at 12 noon. Late Checkout: Check out is on or before 10am. If you would like to extend your check out time, please contact us in advance and we may be able to accommodate your request. Unauthorized late check-outs will automatically be charged 30% of the daily rental rate per hour stay past 10am. We totally understand that accidents happen but please let us know if something spilled, stained, or gets broken during your stay. Failure to communicate any damages, we will pursue collecting for the damages and charge an additional 20% over and above the replacement costs. PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED Please send us a message should you want to bring your pet. You know your pet better than we do, please bring the appropriate accommodations for your particular pet. For example, if your pet is a shedder, please bring your own blanket to protect our furniture. DO NOT BOOK until we have communicated and agreed on the additional pet fee and approved your pet. Please pick up after your pet when walking them in the neighborhood.
